
Step 1: Cart Setup All of projects are set up on a first come, first serve basis based on when the 50% deposit is made. Please contact us prior to making your deposit, and we can give you an estimate of when your project will be started based on the current waiting list. If there is a date you are trying to launch by or you are wanting to be placed later on in the list, please let us know. Once your 50% deposit is made, we will email you with a definite start date for the design and layout portion of your website (step 3). This is also the date your next deposit, 25% is due. For the time being until we start the design and layout, we will begin working with you to get your content and cart setup. You’ll need to create an outline for your pages and categories, and then send that on over to us so that we can begin working with you on implementing that into your cart system. While you’re working on that, begin organizing your products (photos, descriptions, etc) into the appropriate categories you have created, so that you are ready to go!
Step 2: Phone Tutorial We will schedule a date and time to work with you over the phone on how to use your cart system and upload your products and content. This will generally take one to two hours for the phone tutorial, however, it does take time to really get used to the software. So allow yourself several weeks and ample time to devote to uploading your products and getting to know the software.
Step 3: Design and layout of YOUR website Your next deposit of 25% is due prior to beginning this stage. When you made your 50% deposit, the date to begin this portion of your website will be given to you so that you have time to plan and prepare. When you made your 50% deposit, you will receive your “Welcome Packet”, and at this time we will request that. We use this to really get into your brain and see what it is you’re wanting for your design. This is your website, and we want you to LOVE it. We begin with your logo (if you need one) and then jump from there creating the layout for the main website, adding in matching graphics, and then working on the item pages and category pages that will really make your products shine! Once everything is approved, the final 25% is due.
Step 4: Installation Now that the design is approved and the final payment has been made, all of the images, graphics, and copyright have been released to you, and the design will be installed on your hosting and with your cart. While this process is going on, we’ll be working on your printable items, blog, and other items that are included. Another phone tutorial is scheduled so that we can discuss how to process orders and answer any other questions you may have about the cart system.
Step 5: Launch Your Website Once you’re ready to launch, we are. We’ll open your cart, so that when they go to your domain they are instantly at your home page. We’ll post your launching on our website, blog, and other networking websites to help jump start your business. |
